1. Booking & Payment

A session is confirmed once a booking fee has been received. The remaining balance is due on the day of the session unless agreed otherwise.

Booking fees are non-refundable but may be transferred if the session is rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.

2. Rescheduling & Cancellation

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Cancellations within 48 hours of the session may result in loss of the booking fee.

In the unlikely event that I need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative date will be offered or a full refund provided.

3. Session Details

Sessions are typically up to 60 minutes unless otherwise agreed.

Clients are responsible for arriving on time. Late arrivals may reduce shooting time.

Josh Doyley Photography will guide the session, but final results depend on collaboration, performance and client participation.

4. Image Delivery

A proof gallery will be provided for image selection.

Final edited images are delivered digitally within the agreed timeframe (typically 5 working days unless otherwise stated). Delivery timelines begin once final image selections have been confirmed.

Final edited images will be archived for a minimum of 12 months. After this period, file retention is not guaranteed.

RAW files are not provided.

5. Editing & Retouching

Images are professionally edited in line with Josh Doyley Photography's style.

Retouching includes natural skin correction, colour balancing and minor adjustments.

Additional retouching beyond standard corrections may incur an additional fee.

Final delivered images may not be altered, filtered or modified without prior consent. This ensures image quality and consistency with the photographer’s work.

6. Usage & Copyright

Clients receive personal usage rights for self-promotion, Spotlight, agency submissions and social media. Images may not be resold, altered significantly, or used for commercial campaigns without written permission.

Josh Doyley Photography retains copyright to all images.

Selected images may be used for Josh Doyley Photography portfolio, website and marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to delivery.

7. Liability

All reasonable care is taken during sessions and file handling. In the unlikely event of data loss or equipment failure, liability is limited to the amount paid for the session.

Josh Doyley Photography is not liable for missed shots due to client non-cooperation or lateness.

8. Health & Safety

Clients are responsible for their own saftey during sessions.

Josh Doyley Photography is not liable for injury, loss or damage sustained during the shoot unless caused by negligence.
